Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to two different collisions that had been reported through mobile alert systems.
On Sunday, Oxford OPP responded to a mobile alert of a crash on Road 74 in Zorra Township. A 35-year-old resident of Embro was charged with Operation While Impaired, Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus, and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
Later the same morning, OPP responded to another mobile alert of a crash on Mount Elgin Road in South-West Oxford Township. A 47-year-old resident of Tillsonburg was charged with Operation While Impaired, and Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus.
Both accused were released from custody, and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on September 8th.
