Families looking for affordable ways to stay active during March Break will have several opportunities to enjoy free skates and swims throughout the week.
A lineup of local businesses and community groups have sponsored the activities being offered, giving residents a chance to hit the ice or make a splash in the pool while spending time with family and friends during the school break.
Sponsored skates will take place daily from Monday, March 16 to Friday, March 20, running from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Each session is open to skaters of all ages and skill levels.
Free sponsored swims are also scheduled during the week, including Monday, March 16 and Friday, March 20 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., along with a Saturday swim on March 21 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to bring their skates or goggles and take part in the free activities for a fun-filled March Break. Times and sponosrs are also available through the Town of Tillsonburg's website.
