Sixteen residents of Woodingford Lodge in Ingersoll have been temporarily relocated following a sprinkler system malfunction Wednesday evening.
A failed fire suppression valve activated the sprinklers, causing water damage in parts of the long-term care home. Staff and Ingersoll Fire Services evacuated the residents around 7:20. They were taken to Alexandra Hospital, where they're being cared for by hospital and Woodingford staff. All residents are safe, and the home is secure.
