A 33-year-old Woodstock man is facing multiple charges after allegedly stealing merchandise from a Norwich Avenue store, assaulting an employee, and causing damage inside the business. He was arrested and is being held for a bail hearing.
A 33-year-old Woodstock man is facing several charges after a theft at a retail store on Norwich Avenue.
The Woodstock Police Service says officers were called to the area around 4 p.m. on May 25th after a man allegedly walked out of a store without paying.
Police say a store employee was assaulted during the incident, and damage was caused inside the business.
The man has been charged with theft under $5,000, assault, failing to comply with a probation order, and two counts of mischief under $5,000. He was held for a bail hearing.
