Born and raised in Tillsonburg, John Gilvesy is running for town council in this fall's municipal election.

Gilvesy does have an issue with one controversy involving the current sitting council. A matter that landed in the lap of the municipality's integrity commissioner which Gilvesy says was not only costly, to him it smacked of some level of dysfunction on council.
