Police report that 15 bottles of Percocet and four bottles of Methadone were stolen.
St. Thomas Police are investigating a break and enter that occurred at a pharmacy on Sunset Drive early Thursday morning.
Police say officers were called to the business on January 22 after an employee discovered damage to the front door. Through investigation, officers determined the suspect had entered the pharmacy around 4:30 a.m., before fleeing the scene.
Video surveillance shows the suspect entering through the front of the building and exiting through the rear.
Police report that 15 bottles of Percocet, four bottles of Methadone, and approximately $500 in cash were stolen. The estimated street value of the stolen items is around $36,000.
Investigators have released photos in an effort to identify the suspect.
Anyone with information, or who may have surveillance video from the Sunset Drive area, nearby cemetery, or surrounding streets between 4 and 5:30 a.m. on January 22, is asked to contact St. Thomas Police or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
The investigation is ongoing.
