Proceeds support local families coping with a child’s cancer diagnosis and funding critical pediatric cancer research.
Those eager to kick off beach season a little early can take the plunge at Port Stanley’s annual Polar Bear Dip for Childcan on Saturday, March 7th.
The fundraiser challenges participants to run into the frigid waters of Lake Erie, all in support of children and families navigating the challenges of childhood cancer. Participants are encouraged to collect pledges ahead of the event, before they make their daring dive at Little Beach.
Proceeds from the Polar Bear Dip go toward supporting local families coping with a child’s cancer diagnosis and funding critical pediatric cancer research at Children’s Hospital in London.
Organizers have once again set a goal of $100,000 this year.
