Sessions will begin on Thursday, January 15.
Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin is inviting community members who are navigating grief to take part in a new supportive walking group designed to foster connection, reflection, and gentle healing.
The six-week program, called Supportive Steps: A Grief Walking Group, will offer adults a compassionate and welcoming space to share experiences with others who understand the journey of loss. Combining light physical movement with peer support, the group aims to promote emotional well-being through both conversation and the restorative effects of walking.
Sessions will begin on Thursday, January 15, 2026, and run weekly on Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Walks will take place at Family Flowers, located at 44329 Talbot Line in St. Thomas, providing a calm, accessible setting for participants.
