As we say goodbye to 2025 and start making plans and resolutions for the New Year, Canadian Blood Services is reminding residents that the need for blood donations remains high.
Jill Gemmiti, Community Development Manager at Canadian Blood Services, says every donation makes a difference, but certain blood types are always in high demand.
She explained why there is a constant need for blood donors.

The next local blood donation event will take place at the East Elgin Community Complex on Thursday, January 8th.
