London is celebrating creativity and innovation in city design with the 2025 Urban Design Awards

The City of London has announced the winners of the 2025 Urban Design Awards, honouring projects that showcase creativity, sustainability, and excellence in city-building.

Now in its 11th edition, the biennial awards celebrate nearly two decades of recognizing visionary urban design in London. Sixteen professional projects were submitted this year across multiple categories, highlighting forward-thinking approaches that enhance the city’s livability and beauty.

Awards of Excellence were presented to:

Spektra Apartment (1395 Riverbend Road)

Honourable Mentions went to:

Burnlea Hall Student Residence (1311 Western Road)

Dalmar Motors (1297 Wharncliffe Road S)

Fanshawe College Innovation Village (1001 Fanshawe College Boulevard)

The People’s Choice Award was presented to Harris Park Shoreline Restoration & Revitalization (531 Ridout Street N), recognizing community support for sustainable public space design.
