The Town of Tillsonburg says the Kinsmen Bridge and its connecting trails are now expected to be completed by the first week of May 2026 due to supplier delays affecting key structural materials.
The Town of Tillsonburg announced a revised timeline for the completion of Kinsmen Bridge and residents can expect the bridge along with trails to be completed by the first week of May 2026.
On their website, the Town says that the contractor responsible for the work is experiencing delays from their supplier in receiving materials for vital structure components.
Previously, based on all the information they had, the Town estimated that the project would be finished by mid-March of 2026.
Residents are reminded that the final sod and seeding process is weather dependent.
With the revised timeline in effect, any additional costs until completion will be the contractors responsibility.
