Driver charged after vehicle lands on Tillsonburg business lawn

A Norfolk County resident is facing multiple impaired driving charges.

A Norfolk County resident is facing multiple impaired driving charges after a late-night collision on Broadway in Tillsonburg.

Oxford OPP officers were called to the scene around 11 p.m. on November 8, 2025, after reports of a single vehicle that left the roadway and came to rest on the front lawn of a local business. Police say the vehicle struck property before stopping. No injuries were reported.

When officers spoke with the driver, they launched an impaired driving investigation. Kyle Dedecker, 30, of Norfolk County, has been charged with Operation While Impaired (Alcohol), Operation While Impaired with a Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80, and Dangerous Operation.

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension was issued at the scene, as required by law. Dedecker was released from custody and was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on December 16.

The OPP is reminding the public to call 911 to report suspected impaired driving.
