The city says work on the Fairview Avenue project is now in its final stages, with streetlight and traffic signal installation already underway.
In a social media post shared over the weekend, the city says minor delays were caused by the delivery of aluminum traffic signal and streetlight poles, but officials confirm all materials have now arrived on site.
Once all poles are in place, the contractor will complete the remaining electrical work, followed by testing and commissioning of the traffic signals.
Traffic signal commissioning is planned for Thursday, January 22, with the intersection expected to reopen shortly afterward, pending final safety checks.
