Fanshawe Pioneer Village is inviting the public to a weekend of fun and learning during Doors Open London on September 20 and 21, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Presented by the London Heritage Council, Doors Open London gives visitors the chance to explore over 40 museums, heritage sites, and cultural organizations across the city at no cost.
Fanshawe Pioneer Village is among the participating sites, offering free admission and a glimpse into life in London and Middlesex County from 1820 to 1920. Costumed interpreters will guide visitors through heritage buildings, sharing stories and history along the way.
On September 20, enjoy musical performances by the Barclay Road Brassworks and a food and cultural booth presented by Hindu Legacy. On September 21, visitors can learn about rationing during the War of 1812. A BBQ hot dog fundraiser will run both afternoons, giving families a tasty treat while supporting the museum.
