The J.L. Scott McLean Outdoor Rink officially opens for the season tomorrow.
Families in Tillsonburg can enjoy extra free fun this holiday season with a full lineup of free skates and swims, thanks to support from local businesses and community groups.
The Town of Tillsonburg is offering complimentary skating and swimming sessions throughout late December and early January, giving residents a chance to stay active and make holiday memories at no cost.
The J.L. Scott McLean Outdoor Rink was set to officially open for the season tomorrow (December 20) at noon. Current weather conditions may delay that. The rink will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., weather permitting. Supervised family skating runs Mondays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. Ice conditions may change with the weather, and residents are asked to stay off the ice if a red flag is posted.
Free holiday skates and swims at the arena and pool begin December 21 and continue through January 2, hosted by organizations including Crompton Home Hardware, the Lions Club, Future Transfer, and several others.
