Tillsonburg families will have a new opportunity to shop for affordable children's items this weekend.
The Tillsonburg Kinette Club is hosting its inaugural Little Ones Marketplace this Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon at the Tillsonburg Minor Soccer Clubhouse on Quarter Town Line. We talked with Chairperson Theresa MacDougall.
The event will feature gently used infant and children's clothing, toys, books, games, sporting goods and larger baby items.
Organizers say the marketplace is designed to help families save money by finding quality second-hand items, while giving others an opportunity to sell belongings their children have outgrown. The club hopes community support will help establish the marketplace as an annual event.
The inaugural Little Ones Marketplace takes place Saturday from 9 until noon at 275 Quarter Town Line in Tillsonburg. Admission is a donation at the door.
