A 37 year old Ingersoll resident has been charged with assaulting a police officer.
OPP in Oxford County say is was 5:00 a.m., January 2, answered a disturbance call at an address on Albert Street in Ingersoll.
That's where one of the responding officers was assaulted but not injured.
