Muntz-Flowerday was selected following a national recruitment process.
The Board of Directors for the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation has announced the appointment of Sarah Muntz-Flowerday as its new Executive Director.
Muntz-Flowerday was selected following a national recruitment process and brings strong experience in fundraising, charity leadership, and hospital operations. She is a longtime Norfolk County resident and has been with the Foundation since 2017. Most recently, she served as Development Officer and Interim Executive Director. Before joining the Foundation, she also held several support roles at Norfolk General Hospital.
Through her work, Muntz-Flowerday has built strong relationships with donors, hospital staff, and community partners. She is known for her deep understanding of local health care needs and her commitment to quality care close to home.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as Executive Director,” she said, adding she looks forward to working with the community to strengthen local health services.
Board Chair Brad Allender said the board is confident in her leadership, noting her strong connection to the hospital and the community it serves.
