London police make arrest in connection to a stabbing
A 20-year-old man has been charged after a stabbing in downtown London left one person with life-threatening injuries.
Police say officers responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls just after 12:45 a.m. Sunday about a stabbing near St. George and Mill streets. A male victim was found suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Bystanders and officers provided first aid until paramedics arrived and transported the victim to hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Officers arrested a suspect nearby after witnesses provided a description.
Calvin Daley, 20, of London, has been charged with aggravated assault. Police say the investigation is ongoing and are asking anyone with information to contact investigators or Crime Stoppers.
