Stabbing in London leads to arrest of 22-year-old man
A 22-year-old man has been charged following a stabbing in London’s downtown.
Police say officers were called to a location on Simcoe Street around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, where they found a man with stab wounds. The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say the victim identified the suspect, who was arrested less than two hours later near William and King streets.
Owen Bain of London is charged with assault with a weapon.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact investigators or Crime Stoppers.
