A London man has been charged after police say a woman was assaulted and robbed during a pre-arranged meeting
A 47-year-old man is facing multiple charges following an alleged robbery and sexual assault involving a sex-trade worker.
London Police say the incident occurred on October 30th at a south-end hotel, where the accused arranged to meet the victim after she advertised services online. The suspect allegedly assaulted and robbed her before fleeing.
The woman sustained minor injuries and contacted police.
Following an investigation by the London Police Service Human Trafficking Unit, Herbert Orozco was arrested November 6th and charged with robbery, sexual assault, and obtaining sexual services for consideration.
He’s due in court December 17th.
