Investigators are urging anyone who was in the 700-block of Dundas Street between 10:15 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. to come forward.
London police have identified the victim in a homicide investigation in the city’s downtown core.
The London Police Service says Brandon Christopher Jamieson Nichols, 45, of London, died following a stabbing late Monday night on Dundas Street.
Police were called to the area at about 10:35 p.m. on Jan. 12 after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting a stabbing. Officers found an unresponsive adult man in a hallway of an apartment building.
Life-saving measures were initiated by officers until paramedics arrived. The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
The investigation is being led by the London Police Service Major Crime Section and remains in its early stages. No additional details have been released.
