Investigation underway after property damage done in different parts of London
London police are asking the public for information as they investigate a string of property damage incidents that may be connected.
Between May 13th and September 4th, officers responded to five cases involving vehicles being spray-painted and tires damaged at two homes and one business.
At residences near Springbank Drive and Greenside Avenue, and Shelbourne Place and Deveron Crescent, vehicles were spray-painted and tires slashed. At a business near Wortley Road and Stanley Street, several vehicles were spray-painted with hate-related words, had tires damaged, and one vehicle’s window was broken.
The Major Crime Section, with support from the Hate Crime Unit, has taken over the investigations. Police believe the incidents are linked and are urging anyone with information or surveillance footage to come forward.
