Former Ontario Hockey League Commissioner David Branch has died.
Branch, who served as commissioner of the OHL from 1979 to 2024, also served as the CHL President from 1996 to 2019.
Over his career, he was awarded the Order of Hockey in Canada, as well as had the CHL's Player of the Year trophy named after him.
Branch was 77 years old.
