Tillsonburg is no exception when it comes to homelessness.
Some local residents brought their concerns to council recently.

Gilvesy talked about one of two projects in the pipeline aimed at addressing health related conditions that can lead to homelessness.
Oxford County is also looking at establishing a round-the-clock low-barrier shelter which Gilvesy says could help to addresses issues identified in a recent extensive report on shelter access.
Gilvesy notes being homeless isn't illegal and the biggest challenge remains getting those directly affected onboard to seek shelter or treatment.
