Local businesses are being urged to register now for Oxford County’s new curbside recycling program starting in January 2026.
With responsibility for blue box materials shifting to producers under provincial legislation, many small businesses, non-profits, and institutions will no longer be covered by the municipal recycling system.
To support these groups, Oxford County is launching its own collection program beginning the week of January 5, 2026, across all eight area municipalities. Approved participants can take part at no cost, but registration is required.
