From lobbies to care homes, Oxford celebrates Halloween with treats and smiles.
It’s an exciting time for the kids of Oxford County, with trick-or-treating being top of mind.
As the community prepares for tonight’s Halloween festivities, you are reminded of all that will be participating.
While not every unit will have candy, tenants of local apartments buildings will often gather in the lobby to hand out treats of their own.
If you live near a retirement or long term care home, residents and staff tend to take part as well. Not only will the kids get some extra candy but the residents benefit from a friendly visit.
Local Fire Departments, EMS and Police Services may also be handing out treats, should they not be called out to an emergency.
And of course, businesses and shopping centres love to get in the Halloween spirit.
