Oxford County is exploring new speed management and traffic calming measures

Oxford County is considering new speed management and traffic calming measures to address growing traffic volumes and population increases in the region. The proposed initiatives aim to improve road safety for all users across the county.

The measures will be presented to Oxford County Council on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. Residents can watch the meeting live at www.oxfordcounty.ca/livestream.

Members of the public are invited to provide feedback, either by submitting written comments to publicworks@oxfordcounty.ca or by registering as a delegate to speak at the meeting by Feb. 18, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. Delegation requests must be submitted to the County Clerk at clerksoffice@oxfordcounty.ca.

Full council reports and agenda will be published online on Feb. 20 at www.oxfordcounty.ca/council, allowing residents to review the details of the proposed road safety improvements prior to the meeting.
