OxfordToday.ca caught up with Warden Marcus Ryan to look at the beginning of 2026
Looking at the first half of 2026 Oxford County Warden Marcus Ryan expects housing and homelessness will continue to put pressure on municipal budgets.
Ryan says the depth of the problem hasn't changed.
Ryans does note one positive. HART Hub Oxford - which with funding from the province, is just one of many steps that must be taken to address healthcare and homelessness.
HART HUB is a made-in-Oxford initiative to connect health, housing, and social supports county-wide.
