Bag tag price rising from $2 to $3.
Residents in Oxford County will soon pay more for garbage bag tags, with the price increasing to $3 per tag beginning in the New Year.
The county says the increase from the current $2 rate is intended to support the continued delivery of reliable waste collection services.
Officials note there are no other changes to the program. Existing garbage bag tags purchased in 2025 or earlier will remain valid and accepted at the curb, and the tags themselves will not change in colour or design.
All tags sold starting in January 2026 will reflect the new price.
