The contest is now in it's 10th year.
The deadline for submissions to the 10th annual Teen Photography Contest is coming up on August 17, for teens ages 12–18 with an active Oxford County Library card. Celebrating a decade of creativity, this year’s contest features four popular categories: Around the World, Activism, Blast from the Past, and Oxford County. One photo per category can be submitted via email.
New for 2025, free Teen Photography Workshops led by local photographer Courtney Richardson will teach participants the basics of capturing great photos using phones or cameras. Space is limited and registration is required with the final workshop happening tomorrow at the Princeton Library.
Started in 2016 by the Tillsonburg Public Library, the contest has grown across Oxford County and is part of the Summer Reading Club program. Prizes are generously provided by the Thamesford Public Library Advisory Committee and Oxford County Library. Winning photos will be featured online and selected by public vote.
