Rain and freezing rain could be ahead for Tillsonburg drivers
Residents are being warned to prepare for several hours of rainfall and freezing rain, with icy and slippery conditions expected.
Environment Canada forecasts 10 to 25 millimetres of rain on Wednesday, along with 2 to 5 millimetres of ice accumulation in some areas.
The precipitation is expected to begin early in the morning and continue through the evening. A low-pressure system will bring rain and freezing rain, though the exact track and areas affected remain uncertain.
Officials caution that roads and walkways may be hazardous, with possible travel delays, local utility outages, and flash flooding in low-lying areas.
