Arrest made after shooting in downtown London
Police say six people are in custody and one suspect remains outstanding after a downtown London shooting early Sunday.
The London Police Service says officers responded around 3 a.m. to reports of gunshots near John and Richmond streets. They found evidence that a firearm had been discharged, and a short time later a man with serious but non-life-threatening injuries was dropped off at a hospital.
Police say the vehicle that left the victim was later stopped outside the city with help from the OPP, leading to six arrests. A firearm has also been recovered.
The investigation remains ongoing, and investigators are asking anyone who may have information in relation to contact the London Police Service.
