Environment Canada has issued a Snow Squall Warning for Woodstock, Tillsonburg and Oxford County, with lake effect snow
A Snow Squall Warning remains in effect this morning for Woodstock, Tillsonburg and Oxford County as lake effect snow continues to impact the region.
Environment Canada says an additional 5 to 10 centimetres of snow is expected, with reduced visibility due to heavy snow and blowing snow. Conditions are expected to improve later this morning, but travel may remain hazardous until then.
Drivers are urged to use caution, as visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero and roads could become snow-covered and slippery within minutes.
While schools in London and Oxford County remained open on Tuesday, all Elgin & Middlesex County Thames Valley schools were closed.
