Staff provide a report on expenses for councillors in Tillsonburg
A new report shows Tillsonburg council costs reached $266,270 in 2025, continuing an upward trend in recent years.
The figure includes salaries, per diems and other expenses. Mayor Deb Gilvesy led earnings at $47,978, followed by Deputy Mayor David Beres at $24,074, with councillors each earning $22,456.
Some members received additional compensation through police and hydro boards. Health benefits were just over $6,000 per person.
Expense claims remained limited, with only four members submitting more than $300 throughout the year overall.
