Residents of Tillsonburg will have another opportunity to learn more about plans for a proposed Sportsfield Complex at the Mall Road site and future possibilities for the Annandale Ball Diamonds.
The Town of Tillsonburg is holding its second Public Information Centre on Thursday, August 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Tillsonburg Community Centre’s Marwood Lounge, located at 45 Hardy Avenue.
The evening will begin with a brief presentation at 6:30 p.m. providing an overview of the project. That will be followed by an open-house session where residents can review conceptual plans, speak with Town staff and project representatives, ask questions and provide feedback.
The Town says the session is part of its ongoing community consultation process and is being held in a drop-in format, allowing residents to attend at any time during the evening.
Anyone unable to attend the August 13 session will have another opportunity to participate when the third and final Public Information Centre is held September 9.
Residents can also provide input online through the community survey and find additional information, including the conceptual plans, by visiting the Town of Tillsonburg’s Sportsfield Project webpage.
The Town is encouraging residents to take part in the consultation process and share their feedback as planning for the proposed sportsfield complex and the future of the Annandale Ball Diamonds continues.
