Tillsonburg plans to declare part of Otter Lane surplus ahead of November 10th council meeting

Otter Lane Right-of-Way to be declared as a surplus

The Town of Tillsonburg says it intends to declare a portion of the municipally owned Otter Lane Right-of-Way as surplus to its needs.

The property, identified as Otter Lane on Plan 507, measures roughly 12 metres wide by 44 metres deep and includes a driveway providing access to 51 Parkwood Drive. Town staff say an existing storm sewer runs through the lands, and an easement will be required to maintain its operation.

The town says interested parties must enter into a legal agreement approved by council. The notice was issued in accordance with Tillsonburg’s Land Disposition Bylaw 2021-031 and Ontario’s Municipal Act.

Residents are encouraged to share questions or concerns before or during the November 10th council meeting.
