Tillsonburg resident charged with impaired driving following traffic complaint

The 40-year-old is facing multiple charges.

A Tillsonburg resident is facing multiple impaired driving charges after police responded to a traffic complaint on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police, officers were dispatched around 2:30 p.m. on October 5th to a report of a possible impaired driver near Trillium Drive in Tillsonburg. The vehicle was located and stopped by officers.

The individual, 40-year-old Jagpreet Mann of Tillsonburg, has been charged with:

Operation while Impaired – Alcohol

Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80+ mg%)

Dangerous Operation

As a result, both a 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment were issued. The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on November 25th.
