Over 120 walkers and runners braved the cold in Tillsonburg for the “Coldest Night of the Year” event, raising funds for the United Way Oxford Tillsonburg Lighthouse.
Participants bundled up to walk or run on Saturday in support of local families and individuals experiencing poverty and homelessness.
Organizers report that just over $50,000 has been raised so far, with donations still being accepted.
The event not only helps fund vital community programs but also brings neighbors together, showing the power of collective action even on the chilliest of nights.
