Sixteen restaurants across Oxford are serving fundraising burgers all November.
All November, your appetite for burgers can help United Way Oxford raise money to fund its programs.
The agency's Resource Development Co-Ordinator Megan Porter tells us the Ultimate Burger Battle works with local restaurants to
design a specific fundraising burger.
Porter says restaurants have joined the Ultimate Burger Battle to help the United Way meet its local fundraising goal.
16 restaurants in Oxford are participating in Ingersoll, Woodstock, Tillsonburg Thamesford and Tavistock.
Porter says money raised by the Ultimate Burger Battle will help fund 13 organizations and 44 programs.
Porter shines a light how the money raised through the Ultimate Burger Battle is put to work in Oxford County, supporting those in need in three priority areas.
The United Way also funds student nutrition programs that operate in all 38 public schools in Oxford County and Big Brothers - Big Sisters.
