A ticket worth $80 million was sold in London according to OLG
Someone is kicking off the New Year celebrations a little early.
According to OLG, the long-running LOTTO MAX $80-million jackpot has finally been won — and it was won in London.
Officials say the winning ticket was sold somewhere in the city, sparking excitement across the region.
There were also plenty of other wins, with MAXMILLIONS and ENCORE prizes sold in communities across Ontario.
Director of Media Relations Tony Bitonti says it’s an exciting moment for London, and they can’t wait to see the lucky winner or winners come forward to celebrate.
