Woodingford Lodge reports high occupancy, strong compliance in 2025 year-end report

Oxford County Council received a report from Woodingford Lodge at its most recent meeting

Woodingford Lodge’s 2025 year-end Committee of Management report was presented to Oxford County Council, outlining strong occupancy, compliance, and resident satisfaction across its long-term care homes.

A Committee of Management is required under Ontario’s Fixing Long-Term Care Act and is responsible for overseeing compliance with provincial standards. According to the final 2025 report, Woodingford exceeded the Ministry of Long-Term Care’s 97 per cent occupancy target for long-stay beds in every quarter of the year, supporting efficient use of resources and funding eligibility.

Ministry compliance inspections related to staffing and care standards resulted in two notifications at the Woodstock site in January, with no additional findings at Woodstock, Ingersoll, or Tillsonburg for the remainder of the year.

The annual Resident Satisfaction Survey showed high “Excellent” ratings for overall satisfaction from both residents and staff at all three locations. The report also summarizes critical incidents, resolutions, and outbreak activity throughout 2025.

Woodingford Lodge uses its quarterly Committee of Management reports to guide planning and implement continuous quality-improvement measures across its homes.
