Today, Thursday, October 1, Woodingford Lodge is carrying out an emergency training drill at the TILLSONBURG site. This is a TEST only.
A sign will be posted outside the Woodingford Lodge – Tillsonburg home during the drill and will be removed when the test is over.
During the drill, Venison Street access to Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital will be unavailable for approximately two hours in the morning.
Residents, their families and our healthcare and community partners are aware this test is taking place. If you are in the area and notice activity, please be patient. Regular testing of our emergency response plans is one way we work to keep residents safe.
Under Ontario’s Fixing Long-Term Care Act, long-term care homes must plan for a range of emergencies and test those response plans on an ongoing basis.
