A Woodstock-area driver is facing several impaired driving charges following a two-vehicle collision in South West Oxford.
Ontario Provincial Police say officers were called to a crash around 12:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025, at the intersection of Foldens Line and Clarke Road in the Township of South West Oxford. Police reported that one of the vehicles involved failed to remain at the scene.
Officers later located the vehicle on Clarke Road. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
Jordan Teed, 33, of Woodstock, has been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, dangerous operation, failing to remain at the scene, following too closely, and disobeying a stop sign.
As a result, a 90-day administrative driver’s licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impound were issued.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Woodstock in March.
Police continue to urge the public to report suspected impaired driving to help keep Ontario roads safe.
