What's Good in Tillsonburg? Celebrate local talent at the South West Oxford Township Fare this May

The fare is designed to showcase local talent and promote businesses within the township.

Small businesses and artisans in South West Oxford are being invited to take part in this year’s South West Oxford Township Fare.

Mayor David Mayberry says the second annual event will take place Saturday, May 23rd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the community centre in Mount Elgin. The fare is designed to showcase local talent and promote businesses within the township.

Vendors could include honey and maple syrup producers, bakers, woodworkers, sewers, photographers and service providers. The focus is strictly on businesses based in South West Oxford.

Mayberry added it’s about showcasing what’s available locally and celebrating the gifts and talents we have in the community.

Last year’s fair featured more than 30 indoor vendors and several outdoor booths, with strong community support and networking opportunities.

The event is free for vendors, but registration is required through the Township office to reserve indoor or outdoor space. Food trucks are also welcome.

Vendors are asked to register before March 30 at www.swox.org.
