An exciting addition will be coming to Tillsonburg Fire
Tillsonburg Fire Service has been given the green light by the municipality to hire a Deputy Chief.
Chief Scott Tegler talks about some of the qualifications he's looking for.
Tegler notes the successful Deputy Chief will play a significant role in helping him manage Tillsonburg's volunteer fire department which today numbers almost three dozen members.
Tegler says one of the responsibilities of fire department leadership includes communications.
Chief Tegler says he's hoping to have a deputy in place by the end of the year.
Tegler says finding someone interested in advancing to Chief one-day would be ideal.
