Club President Michelle Wegg confirmed the popular night parade will follow the same route as last year.
The Tillsonburg & Area Optimist Club is set to bring festive cheer to town once again with its annual Santa Claus Parade, happening Saturday, November 15 at 6 p.m.

“This nighttime parade has been really successful,” Wegg said. She expects the parade will be a little more than an hour long based on last year's numbers.
Highlights include performances by the Sidewalk Crusaders and the Tomato Soup Band.
Wegg added that the parade gives the community a chance to come together in more ways than one.
Additionally, the Tillsonburg Kinettes are collecting new hats and mittens for the Salvation Army.
Wegg wants to thank the former parade chairs, Lindsey and Holly. Who were a big help making sure this year’s parade will be a success. They’ve been incredibly supportive and quick to answer any questions Wegg had.
Rogers TV will film and broadcast the event for those watching from home — and, as always, Santa Claus will close the parade in true holiday style.
