Canadians are invited to #ChooseToInclude by purchasing the Special Olympics Donut.
From January 30 to February 1, Canadians are invited to #ChooseToInclude by supporting the return of the Special Olympics Donut.
Special Olympics Canada has once again partnered with Tim Hortons to raise funds and awareness through the limited-time donut.
One hundred per cent of proceeds from each Special Olympics Donut sold will go directly to local Special Olympics community programs. The funds support thousands of athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Canada, helping them take part in sport, build confidence, and feel included in their communities.
Tim Hortons has been a national partner of Special Olympics Canada since 2016. The company supports youth programs such as ActiveStart and FUNdamentals, National Games, and local activities across the country. Tim Hortons also employs many individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Special Olympics athletes.
Supporters are encouraged to share photos on social media using #ChooseToInclude and tagging Tim Hortons, Special Olympics Canada, and their local chapter. Twelve people, one from each province and territory, will win a Tim Hortons gift card.
Oxford residents can support the cause by purchasing a Special Olympics Donut at participating Tim Hortons locations.
