Donation Day collects winter essentials for Londoners facing homelessness.
What began in 2017 with one crockpot of chicken noodle soup behind a local shelter has grown into 519Pursuit - a community outreach organization supporting people facing homelessness and poverty across London.
Founded by Allison DeBlaire and Amber Irvine, the group has built partnerships with the London Food Bank, RBC Place London, and Y.O.U. (You Made It Café) to provide food, clothing, and compassion through daily outreach.
Today, volunteers run regular donation drives and distribute clothing, blankets, and care packages to those living rough.
This weekend’s Donation Day at 203 Bathurst Street aims to restock essentials like winter coats, sleeping bags, and thermals as temperatures drop.
Organizers say community support makes their mission possible - because “without you, there is no 519Pursuit.”
