The charity hockey game takes place Monday, February 16.
First responders are set to face off once again this Family Day as the Battle of the Badges returns to Aylmer.
The charity hockey game takes place Monday, February 16, at the East Elgin Community Complex, where the Aylmer Police Service and Ontario Provincial Police will team up to take on the Aylmer Fire Department.
The day begins with a free public skate from noon until 1:30 p.m., followed by the puck drop. Admission is by monetary donation or non-perishable food item.
All proceeds from the event will support Family Central in Aylmer, as well as local mental health initiatives. Fans can also take part in a 50/50 draw and chuck-a-puck during intermission.
The community is encouraged to come out, support a good cause, and cheer on their favourite first responders during the Family Day matchup.
